Fellowship Part I:  Communion and Kindness

Acts 2:41-44

I.  God knows that we need to remember together who our Savior is.

   

    A.  In remembering who Jesus is, we see each other differently.                     I Tim. 1:15-16

    B.  In celebrating our common salvation, we are unified.                          Eph. 2:1-7, Jude 1-3

 

II.  As we see one another as brothers and sisters, we treat each other as family.

 

    A.  We are thoughtful and kind toward each other.                                           Eph. 4:31-5:2

    B.  We are willing to sacrifice for one another.                                                    II Cor. 8-9

 

III.  Communion and kindness draw us closer to heaven.

 

    A.  Experiencing true fellowship within the body is a glimpse of God’s glory.                 vs. 44

    B.  Our day-to-day perspective becomes more eternal.

 

 

How often do I weigh and consider the price paid for my salvation?
