Being the Son the Father
of the Prodigal Deserved
Luke 15: 11-32
Pew Bible Pg. 850
I. In what ways did the younger son (and
we too) fail.
Luke 15: 11-24
None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands, no one
seeks for God. All have turned aside,
together they have gone wrong; no one does good, not even one.
Rom.
3:10-12
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Rom. 3:23
But, God, shows His love for us in that while we were yet
sinners Christ died for us.
Rom. 5:8
If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. But, if we confess
our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
