I. Rekindle the gift of God that is within you. II Tim. 3: 6-7

God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love and self-control.

II Tim. 1:7

Wage a spiritual warfare, holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting conscience certain persons have made shipwreck of their faith.

I Tim. 1: 18-19

I appeal to you brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind Rom. 12: 1-2

II. Dont be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. II Tim. 1: 8a

Let us with confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and grace to help in the time of need.

Heb. 4: 16

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put your confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put your confidence in princes.

Ps. 118:8-9

God says,

Because he cleaves to Me in love, I will deliver him, I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.

Paul said,

I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Rom. 8: 18

Again,

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... No in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Rom. 8:35, 37
