The Encouragement of Being in His Family

I. We are not our own when we are fully His. Phil. 2:1-2, Heb. 10:19-22

A. This is a decision in a moment.


B. This is a daily decision of walking in obedience.



II. We are a part of the body with the privilege of experiencing something beyond ourselves.

Phil. 2:2-5, Heb. 10:23-24


A. We may not all be gifted, but we are all commanded.

Rom. 12:6-8


B. God knows what is needed to sustain the body of Christ.



III. We are encouraged with the hope of knowing that we are His forever. Heb. 10:25


A. We need to prepare ourselves with daily encouragement.


B. Even in the trials. . . especially in the trials, encourage one another.



How am I doing in daily recognizing who I am in Christ?



Am I looking for ways to give encouragement to others in the body of Christ?



Do I recognize that the Day is approaching and the greater need that exists for us to encourage one another?
