Two Radical Parents
Luke 1:26-38, Matthew 1:18-25
I. Mary was radically obedient.
A. Mary discerned God’s call on her life. Luke 1:26, 29, 34
B. Mary was willing to accept whatever God had in store for her. Luke 1:38
II. Joseph was radically faithful.
A. Joseph was honorable to Mary. Matt. 1:19
B. Joseph was honorable to God in his obedience. Matt. 1:24-25
III. We are called to be radically faithful and obedient.
A. The call to live as a follower of Jesus Christ was never promised to be easy.
B. The exchange is eternal and worth every sacrifice. Matt. 6:19-24, 33
What call has God placed on my life?
Am I seeking Him in all areas of my life or have I created “rooms” that are off limits?
When I am willing to be radically obedient and faithful, God receives the glory.
